Ep. 77 - Borderline Pukey

Come to our Stitches SoCal meetup!  Saturday, November 3, from 1-3pm in the Sheraton hotel bar (Charlie's Bar 303 E Cordova St. 91101).  Take a break from shopping and show me what you've made!  Or just say hi in the marketplace.

My Current Fix:
Jill is close to finishing her Wool & Honey pullover by Andrea Mowry out of Rowanspun 4-ply.  She finished the brim of her Baa-ble Hat by Donna Smith out of Manos del Uruguay Classica.  She also spun the first half of her Goodie Supply Co Polwarth/Silk braid in the It's a Mermaid colorway.  It was for the Greater Los Angeles Spinning Guild spinalong.

What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill is into the Seaglass and Driftwood sweater by Annie Lupton.  She also likes the cropped crochet top, the Totum Tee by Nomad Stitches.

Re-Ups:
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Superwash for a Little Dude by Andrea Rangel.
Under Dutch Skies BFL/Silk in fluorescent yellow

Ep. 76 - Full Diaper for a Human Adult

Ep. 76!  More than just knitting this time.

What I've Finished:
Jill sewed a Range Backpack (pattern by Noodlehead) for her Mom's birthday.  She used light canvas purchased at Okadaya in Tokyo, pink quilting cotton from Jo-Ann's, waxed canvas from Fabric Planet, and hardware from Noodlehead.

My Current Fix:
Jill has given up on the Mustard Baby Romper by creativa atelier after it was turning out huge.  She just finished the body of Wool & Honey pullover by Andrea Mowry out of Rowan Rowanspun 4-ply in Temptation.  She also started a Baa-ble Hat by Donna Smith out of Manos del Uruguay.  Both of these projects are for the First-In-First-Out craftalong!

What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill has a couple crochet patterns in her favorites, including The Coco Boxy Sweater by Cecilia Losada and the "Lotus" blanket in 12 peaks by Natascha Stadter.  There are two free worsted weight shawl patterns: Rumpelstiltskin by Christin Kimsey and Between the Worlds by Doro Winter.  She also likes the new pattern Thanks, It Has Pockets! by Kathleen Sperling.  She is a little bit obsessing over Lucy Hague.

Re-Ups:
Jill got a lovely package from Amy - capeneddicknitter on ravelry, including homemade project bags, a skein of Jaggerspun Green Line Sport in Dark Lilac, and the Maine Knits book by Beatrice Perron Dahlen.
