Ep 22 - The Newspeeper

Michele has been working on her Celtic Cable Beanie by Cecilia Fameli in Knit Picks City Tweed in Blue Blood.
Jill finished some handspun yarn. She spun 8 oz of woolgatherings 70% Oatmeal BFL / 30% Silk fiber into a 2-ply DK.
Jill has been working primarily on the Alinta Wrap by Ambah O'Brien in KP Capretta Cream, Decadently Divine Sock in Speckled Egg, Shibui Sock in a raspberry color.
What We're Jonesing For:
Michele is looking at blankets. She mentions the Peacock Pretty Blanket by kraftling, also the Daisy Afghan, Surf City Beach Blanket, and Plum Throw, all by kraftling. She's also been looking at hot water bottle cover, including the Hot Water Straitjacket by brella, Bee Cozy by Melissa Kelenske, Winterberry by gluecksfisch, Budding Branches by Kendra Nitta, and Simply Seamless Cozy by BacoKnitter Designs.
Jill has some favorites including Nancy Merchant's new brioche cowl pattern Bonfire and the Moose Sweater by Lone Kjeldsen. She also really wants to make the Aumangea Pullover by Francoise Danoy and the Lemon Whimsy Hat by Sara Setters.

Michele finished her Chai Beanie by Claire Devine. She used Lion Brand Woolspun in Peacock and Moss Mix for the pom pom. Hers is here. She is going to start a Ducks team color hat using the Purl Soho Classic Cuffed Beanie.
Jill finished her Wild is the Wind hat by Lee Meredith in Plymouth Taria Tweed in dark green. She also made a hot water bottle cover using the Haworth pattern by Julie Zaichuk-Ryan. She used Patons Classic Wool in Moss Heather, just about a skein. She almost made the Hot Water Platypus pattern or the Cozy Bottle by Hinke.

Jill is going to cast on the Alinta Wrap by Ambah O'Brien soon using KP Capretta, Shibui Sock and Decadently Divine Decadent Sock SW. She'll enter that in the Yarnderwoman striped shawl KAL. She might start Velma by Allyson Dykhuizen for the Holla Knits KAL starting Feb 1. She has a few new silly favorites, the Manta Ray Family by Kristin Maw and the Kinky Karrrot by Julie Lucas. She also likes the new Cabled Knit Cardigan by Patons for all her potential baby knitting. She joined the 2 Knit Lit Chicks KAL.
