Ep. 20 - Not Too Late for Jack Fruit Chips
Our Current Fix:
Michele finished her Windschief by Stephen West in LB Heartland. She frogged her Saturn Sweater and Eisblume Beanie.
Jill frantically finished all her Giftalong patterns! She made the Endira Necklace by Cassie Castillo, her page here. She finished the Dashing Dachshund by Ella Austin in KP Palette (page here). Her favorite project from the GAL was her Aglow shawl out of MadTosh Prairie. (Rav page) And finally, the Antrorse sweater by Shannon Cook. Project page here. She also finished a few small projects. She made a Heisenberg Cup Cozy by Alexandra Davidoff, hers here. And a Jolly Wee Elf by Churchmouse Yarns and Tea. Jill's in Galway Sport here.
Michele needs a Supercross beanie so started a Chai hat by Claire Devine in Lion Brand Woolspun. Her page is here. She is also still working on her Black Death shawl. Pattern here, project page here.
Moments before podcasting Jill finished the Beechwood Cowl by Melynda Bernardi. She's swatching Taria Tweed yarn, and will either cast on Chutes, and also Ladders by Alex Tinsley or Wild is the Wind by Lee Meredith.
What We're Jonesing For:
Michele is still obsessed with beanies! The one she tracked down from Instagram is the Gespeg hat by Ariane Caron-Lacoste. She also likes a couple brioche hats: Vintage Prim by Andrea Mowry and Candy Leaves by Raina K. She likes the lacey hat, Mina by Ela Torrente. And a couple cabled hats:
Gemstone Hat by Olya Bagi and the Bray Cap by Jared Flood.
Jill chimed in again with the beezee hat by Karin Schubert. She also loves the Chance of Snow cardigan by Elena Nodel. She loves the Laura's Leaves shawl by Emily K Williams. Also the Beeswax Hat by Amy van de Laar.
