Ep. 24 - A Beanie for the Planet
Our Current Fix:
Michele finished her Celtic Cabled Beanie by Cecilia Famili! It looks great out of Knit Picks City Tweed in Blue Blood. Her Rav page is here.
Jill finished her Kernel scarf by Bonnie Sennott out of Koigu KPM, but still hasn't blocked it. She also made the Valentin rabbit by Anisbee Anisbee for Lucas out of Caron Simply Soft and Red Heart Super Saver. Her Rav page here.
Michele has cast on a Tyson hat by Robyn Devine out of Red Heart Super Saver Team Spirit in Orange and Black.
Jill's in-progress projects include the Sweet Pea cardigan by Mary Scott Huff in Knit Picks Comfy Worsted in Peapod, an Eliot-the-Elephant Baby Bib by Justyna Kacprzak in KP Comfy Sport in Sea Foam, and some spinning of Malabrigo Nube fiber in the colorway Candombe.
We also mention the Umbilical Cord Hat by Jennifer L. Jones.
What We're Jonesing For:
Michele has been looking at baby sweaters including Cascade by Raya Budrevich (she'll use Red Heart with Love) and the Fuss-Free Baby cardigan by Louise Tilbrook.
Jill likes a couple projects from the Interpretations Vol. 3 collection including Breathing Space by Veera Valimaki and Timeless Henley by Joji Locatelli. She likes the silly Wonder Warmer pattern by Sick 'Lil Monkeys. She also likes the Waiting for Rain shawl pattern by Silvia Bo Bilvia. Jill queued the Villi Pohjola baby blanket by Terhi Viinikanoja (in Finnish!)
The Cut Chenille Baby Blanket tutorial from Aesthetic Nest!! I was originally inspired by Grumperina's version.
